Happy Monday! For today’s post, I thought I would share with you all some of the books that I plan to read this fall 🙂 I’m seriously so excited for the fall season because it’s that time of the year where you have the fall-themed starbucks drinks, get to read creepy novels and celebrate Halloween!! I have some really great books on my TBR so without further ado, let’s get started.

1. Empire Of Storms by Sarah J Maas
Empire Of Storms is the fifth instalment to the Throne Of Glass series and this book is at the top of my priority TBR list 🙂 I definitely need to get to it this month because I’ve been hearing so many amazing things about it and I want to discuss it with my friends who have already read it!! I’ve been avoiding spoilers ever since it was released and I’m proud of myself because I successfully avoided spoilers * gives myself a pat on the back *
2. Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
Crooked Kingdom is the conclusion to the Six Of Crows duology and I actually just finished this book a couple of days ago and absolutely loved it! This book deserves a billion stars and it was so beautiful, heart wrenching and badass. I have a full review up so click HERE if you’re interested in checking it out.
3. Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake
This is a newly released YA fantasy following three triplets who each rumour to possess different powers and on their sixteenth birthday, they’ll have to come together and fight to the death for the crown. I’m really excited to get to this soon because I’m always in the mood for a good YA fantasy and the premise just really intrigues me 🙂
4. Stalking Jack The Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco
Stalking Jack The Ripper is a book based on the murders made by Jack The Ripper and I’m not sure if this a ” retelling ” but it’s a creepy read that is perfect for Halloween and I think there might be romance in it? I’m not exactly sure! What sold me on buying this book was this sentence that is found at the back of the book :
” He murdered women in cold blood. He terrorized an entire city. He taunted those of us who hunted him down. But despite all these horrors, in the end, I could not deny it… I was the girl who loved The Ripper. “
HOW GOOD DOES THAT SOUND?!?!?
5. Holding Up The Universe by Jennifer Niven
This is Jennifer Niven’s newest contemporary novel that was just released and I am currently reading it and LOVING IT
6. The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena
The Couple Next Door is an adult mystery thriller and I’m not really sure what it’s about but I’m going to keep it this way because I like going into thriller novels not knowing much about the plot! Thrillers are also great Halloween reads so I’m excited to get to it soon.
7. Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
I’m sure all of you know about this book but if you don’t, this is a science-fiction / dystopian novel! It always gets a lot of hype and since the sequel Gemina is coming out soon, I really hope to read Illuminae this month.
8. Saga Volume 1 by Brian K. Vaughan & Fiona Staples
Lastly on my TBR, we have Saga Volume 1. I am also currently reading this and it’s super weird but very interesting and addicting! The art style is so quirky but I’m really loving the storyline.

Those are all the books that I’m hoping to get to this fall! Do let me know in the comments if you’ve read any of the books I mentioned and what are some books on your Fall TBR 🙂 Thank you for reading and I’ll see you in my next post, bye!

  1. I just finished “Illuminae” and it was a very quick read, considering how thick the book looks. I liked it; it definitely was a different reading experience.

    And Saga… yes, please.
