Books I read
1. Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire
My Rating :  ♥♥♥♥ /  ♥♥♥♥♥
This is a magical realism / fiction novel and I really enjoyed it as it was so whimsical and the writing was beautiful. I will have a full review up on here soon!
2. Gotham Academy Vol 1 : Welcome To Gotham Academy
My Rating :  ♥♥♥ /  ♥♥♥♥♥
Gotham Academy Vol 1 was a really good foundation for the rest of the series and I absolutely loved the wide range of diverse characters 🙂 I didn’t love it as much but it was still an enjoyable and quick read.
3. Queen Of Shadows by Sarah J Maas
My Rating :  ♥♥♥♥♥ /  ♥♥♥♥♥
Queen Of Shadows was THE BEST BOOK I READ THIS MONTH, like I just can’t express ho much I loved this book. If you’re interested, I uploaded a full review + discussion so you can click HERE to check it out!
4. Crimson Dagger ( Falling Kingdoms #0.1 ) by Morgan Rhodes
My Rating :  ♥♥♥♥ /  ♥♥♥♥♥
This is a novella that focused more on Magnus, who is one of my favourite characters in the Falling Kingdoms series, and I really loved reading more about his life because we got to know about his life and his past more.
5. The Forbidden Wish by Jessica Khoury
My Rating :  ♥♥♥♥ /  ♥♥♥♥♥
The Forbidden Wish is a Aladdin retelling and overall, I didn’t love it but I still enjoyed it! I loved the idea of it being gender-swapped and the romance was ADORABLE 🙂
6. Sula’s Voyage by Catherine Torres
My Rating :  ♥♥♥♥ /  ♥♥♥♥♥
Sula’s Voyage is also another one of my favourites of September and I talked more about it in my review HERE , but it was a really beautiful and eye opening read.
7. The Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J Maas
My Rating :  ♥♥♥♥♥ /  ♥♥♥♥♥
The Assassin’s Blade is a collection of novellas about Celaena before the events of Throne Of Glass and I really really loved all the novellas! I gave most of them four / five stars and the last novella just shattered my heart into a million pieces 😦
8. Amulet #1 : The Stonekeeper by Kazu Kibuishi
My Rating :  ♥♥♥♥ /  ♥♥♥♥♥
Amulet is a middle-grade graphic novel series and I’m really enjoying it so far. It reminds me a lot of Simona and it’s filled with action and great illustrations. I would highly recommend everyone to check this series out 😀
9. Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
My Rating :  ♥♥♥♥♥ /  ♥♥♥♥♥
I decided to re-read Six Of Crows before receiving my copy of Crooked Kingdom and I loved it as much as the first time! I’m currently reading Crooked Kingdom and do stay tuned for a full review + discussion of this duology soon!

  1. Nice haul and great wrap-up. I picked up The Hamilton Affair last month too! I’m glad there are so many of us obsessed with Hamilton out there. And I’m currently reading Crooked Kingdom myself. I absolutely loved Six of Crows so I’m excited to see what happens with Kaz and crew now. It makes me sad that it’s just a duology.
